Are you a high school student looking to get engaged in your community? Do you need to fulfill some volunteer hours for the school year? CNIB is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing volunteers to be part of our Youth Action Team! On the action team, you will work with CNIB staff to promote upcoming fundraising events in Surrey throughout the summer. Increase awareness at local community events – put up posters around your community, do research, staff a CNIB table, talk to the public about the event, engage the crowd and come up with fun booth activities, etc. Volunteer independently in your community, while helping CNIB further its mission - to ensure Canadians who are blind or partially sighted, have the confidence, skills and opportunities to fully participate in life.
